Chakaya Alpacas is situated in the Huon Valley in Southern Tasmania just 45 minutes past the Capital City of Hobart.

We are in the heart of the apple growing region where the climate is just right for our herd of suri alpacas. With temperatures low and snow on the far hills this area is perfect for fleece production.

When driving from north go over Huon River bridge in Huonville, turn right on to Glen Huon road, travel 17kms towards Judbury. About 400mts from the bridge in Judbury there is a dirt road (She Oak rd) which veers left off Glen Huon rd, we are 3.93kms up this road.
